Classic Green Smoothie

Ok I know there are approximately a bazillion “Green Smoothie” recipes on the internet and in no way am I bashing them BUT sometimes you just need a few simple ingredients to make you feel great and satisfy your hunger. So here is an uncomplicated solution to that!

Chai Smoothie

Another smoothie for the Winnow Smoothie Series. This one is more like a dessert and actually tastes more like a milkshake than anything! It’s pretty decadent but not nearly as bad for you as a real milkshake.

Anti-Inflammatory Watermelon Mint Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie is light but filling and helps with inflammation which I’m always looking for! Yes- there is a pinch of turmeric in it. Yes there is an avocado in it. But… I promise those flavors are masked and it’s actually sweet and so refreshing! Don’t knock the combo until you try it.

This might just be my all time favorite smoothie I’ve ever had. Are you ready?!

Cantaloupe Salad

This salad is so quick and easy to whip up and so versatile. Bring to a summer bbq, bridal brunch, baby shower, on a picnic etc. I kept the ingredients simple but be sure to use fresh mint and a ripe cantaloupe to get the most flavor.

Bonus is that this salad has anti-inflammatory properties. We could all use a little more of that!

Savory Oatmeal

A mushroom medley, poached egg and sautéed kale come together for this beautiful and easy brunch combo. The key to this bowl is the runny yolk. It becomes like a sauce that makes the oatmeal so creamy!

Nora's Granola Recipe

This is my mom’s famous granola recipe! It has been equated to cocaine by those who truly have their heads screwed on straight. What I love about this recipe is that there is so much room for improvising and changing things up. Want a cinnamon granola? Just add a couple pinches to the dry mixture. Want it to be truly nutty? Add more nuts and omit the dried fruit. This recipe is a great base for making different flavors of granola.
