Vegan Green Goddess Sauce

If you didn’t know yet- I am all about the quick prep sauces that can transform bland weeknight meals! This vegan Goddess Dressing is just that! It adds a bit of protein to a simple bowl of veggies or water it down a bit and drizzle it over a fresh salad. Make it what you want it to be a dressing or a sauce!

Green Goddess Dressing Sauce

Dairy Free Green Goddess Sauce

Yields 1 ¼ c.- 1 ½ c.


⅓ c. cashews (soaked in hot water for 30 minutes)
½ of an avocado
½ c. cilantro*
½ c. parsley*
2 garlic cloves
2 tbsp. chopped jalapeno
1 green onion stem
¼ c. lemon juice
¼ tsp. salt
2 tsp. honey
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. water**


Drain and rinse cashews. Toss all ingredients into a food processor and blend until creamy.

*Don’t throw the herb stems away; use them! They add so much flavor; there is no need to throw them away, especially since you’re going to process them in a food processor any way. 

***Feel free to adjust the water as much as you want. This sauce can easily be made into a dressing for salads!
