Ok it’s time for another smoothie in the Winnow Smoothie Series. This one is more like a dessert than the others I’ve shared.

I know that the ingredient list below might seem intimidating but I bet you have most if not all the spices in your pantry already. I highly suggest you round them up because this smoothie actually tastes more like a frappe or milkshake than anything! It’s pretty decadent but not nearly as bad for you as a real frappe. I can’t believe I just said frappe three times in one paragraph. The last time I had one of those was about a decade ago.

(Serves 2)

Ingredients

2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 ⅓ c. of non-dairy milk
⅔ c. spinach (packed)
1 in. fresh ginger (peeled)
5 frozen bananas
2 tsp. almond butter
1 date (pitted)
¼ c. chia seeds
1 tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. Cardamom
⅛ tsp. nutmeg
⅛ tsp. all spice
⅛ tsp. ground clove

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
