Berry Harvest Smoothie Bowl

Berry Harvest Smoothie Bowl

The weather has been wishy washy lately as it always goes in the days leading up to a new season. Next week starts Fall! Get ready for all the delicious comforting, warming meals to come! Don’t worry it won’t be all pumpkin spice (although there will be some). Rather I plan on sharing a variety of comfort meals, healthy- make your body feel good meals and plenty of treats! It’s all about balance right?!

But technically summer isn’t over yet so I thought why not go out with a classic? This berry smoothie bowl is one that honestly doesn’t really need a recipe because you can really throw whatever frozen berries you have in it and top it with whatever nuts and seeds of your choosing.

I used cashews, yogurt and water in this recipe to make a really creamy consistency rather than going with a store bought milk. Many store bought alternative milks have preservatives and hard to digest (for some) gums. I try to avoid them when I can but we all know we need something cheap and easy every now and again so if you would rather use milk simply omit the cashews, water and yogurt.
